At ESD, with imaginative stimuli, we enjoy dance and help students discover and develop dance movement, focus, space awareness, posture, coordination, confidence and much more! Our qualified and experienced teachers have a passion for their students as well as their own continued training.
3&4 Yr Ballet/Tap Combo Class
3 or 4 years old in August. This 45-minute class begins with 30 minutes of dance/ballet and ends with 15 minutes of tap.
(Choose 1 of the following days/times)
- Mondays: 3:45pm – 4:30pm
- Tuesdays: 4:00pm – 4:45pm
- Thursdays AM: 10:00am – 10:45am
Performance: Students will perform an in-studio Christmas dance for their family, as well as perform in the end-of-year Theatrical Production.
PrePrimary 5&6 Yr Ballet
5 or 6 years old in August.
(Choose 1 of the following days/times)
- Mondays: 4:30-5:30 (for 6 year olds who will be 7 by Christmas)
- Tuesdays: 4:45pm – 5:45pm
- Thursdays AM: 10:45am – 11:45am
- Thursdays PM: 4:30pm-5:30pm (for 6 year olds who will be 7 by Christmas)
- Thursdays PM: 5:45pm – 6:45pm
Performance: Students will perform an in-studio Thanksgiving dance for their family, as well as perform in the end-of-year Theatrical Production.
DRAMA: 6 Years & Up
- Fridays 6:00pm – 7:15pm
Drama introduces students to acting techniques and the art of communicating meaning and intent on the stage. In this class, students will enhance skills including creativity, improvisation, imagination, and concentration using both verbal and nonverbal means of communication. Drama students will have weekly opportunities to perform with and in front of their peers, developing expertise in both confidence and teamwork.
Performance – All students will perform either in the end-of-year Theatrical Production or an in-studio drama.
